Friends Bookstore Weekly Specials

Wednesday, April 24

Our newest spotlights in the Friends Bookstore are Audiobooks, Biography and History. We have added many new selections to each, including the Shipwreck Cannibals: Captain John Deane and the Boon Island Flesh Eating Scandal by Adam Nightingale.

On the patio this week we have a nice selection of Large Print books for half price! We continue with our 3/$1 Children & Youth cart, supplemented with many new titles.

 

 

 

Our Hidden Gem this week is Travel. You’ll find these in aisle 12 of the bookstore or where you see the Hidden Gem signs. We have added some pristine, beautifully illustrated travel books to inspire your next adventure!

This week, we have more terrific new listings in our Shopify store. These include new additions to Children’s Picture Books, a unique group of Art books, and Classic Comics Books added to Graphic Novels/Comic Books. In New on Shopify, we add new adult Fiction and nonfiction, history, biography, religion and Kalamazoo history. Also, in New on Shopify are Weather Studies: Introduction of Atmospheric Science, Fifth Edition, from the American Meteorological Society and Complications in Surgery, Michael W. Mulholland and Gerard M. Doherty.

Please note: With the exception of the Collectibles Cabinet, books listed in our online store are not available in the bookstore.

 


FRIENDS DONATIONS

We accept donations on Mondays and Saturdays from 10-12 and Wednesdays from 11-1 in the parking lot behind the Central Library. If you would prefer to schedule an appointment to drop off your donation you can call 269.553.7950 and a volunteer will return your call.

We will not be accepting donations from May 25 through June 10, 2024. We will resume normal donation days on June 12, 2024.
