Nerds unite! Geek Fest will return live and in-person to the Kalamazoo County Expo Center!

Nerds unite! Geek Fest returns to the Kalamazoo County Expo Center on October 14th! Join KPL staff, as well as the other sponsoring libraries: Paw Paw District LibraryPortage District Library, and partnering with us for the first time in-person, the Black Arts and Cultural Center of Kalamazoo, and the Kalamazoo Valley Museum. This comic-con will be free to the general public, and feature attractions for all ages such as gaming, LEGOs, robotics, art, comics, cosplay contests, and so much more! For all ages, no registration is necessary.

Featuring our special guest DM Scotty of The DMs Craft! He’s the content creator for his popular YouTube channel, and author of EZ D6, a fun tabletop RPG styled after popular games like Pathfinder, Dungeons and Dragons, and Magic the Gathering! Scotty will be hosting a booth, running some mini-events in the game room, and hosting a short breakout session on creating your own gaming terrain with various household tools! The first 100 guests to Scotty’s table will receive a free copy of his book, EZ D6.
