Great Grown-Up Spelling Bee

A Wild and Wacky POSTPONED Event for a Great Cause

Sponsor Ready to Read

Even though the Great Grown-Up Spelling Bee is unable to take the stage in 2020, the need to raise funds to support Ready to Read is still there. We rely on funds raised from the annual bee to support our always growing book distribution in Kalamazoo County. In 2019, Ready to Read distributed over 16,000 books to our youngest learners to keep in their homes. The need for print materials is greater this year as we struggle with changing needs in our community due to Covid-19. We are on track to surpass 2019’s record breaking year of book giving. We need your help! If this is your first time giving, or if you are an annual supporter of the Spelling Bee, please consider giving to this collaborative cause of sharing books in support of the early literacy sector in Kalamazoo County!
