In the Friends Bookstore:

Our spotlights this week include books on Cooking in like new condition and a fresh group of Biographies. For all Teachers and Educators planning their fall curriculum we have Education materials, from books on class-room instruction techniques to workbooks for all ages. We have over 100 new Mystery titles on the shelves, and a cart of half-priced Mystery on the patio. Also on the patio, we have a cart filled with Music CD’s in rock, motion picture tracks, pop, religious, rhythm and blues, jazz, folk, country and world categories.

In our Collections area, we have added the Official Edition: The World’s Best Orations from the Earliest Period to the Present Time, ed David J. Brewer, 10 volumes [1899] This is a fantastic, complete collection. $100.00. Also in the bookstore; Nobel Prize Library by S.Y. Agnon and Ivo Adric, [1971] Hardcover, 19 of 20 Volume Set, published by Alexis Gregory, New York and CRM  Publishing, Del Mar, California, in very good condition for $30.00 and Mysteries of the Unknown by TIME LIFE BOOKS, a complete 33 volume set in very good condition for $100.00 and Time Life: Home Repair and Improvement, 36 volumes in great shape for just $12.00.

We feature Cookbooks, Outdoor Sports, and Youth Fiction at 20% through August 17th. This week we also present a very nice group of Gardening books from The Principles of Gardening and Kitchen Garden Planner to The Dry Garden and Harvesting, Preserving, Arranging Dried Flowers. We also feature new titles in our Music category, including some terrific vintage songbooks: The Joan Baez Songbook, The Judy Collins Songbook, and The Songs of Paul Simon. We include additions to our Biography, Poetry, and True Story categories, and in our New on Shopify category, books on Art, History, Biography and other Adult Nonfiction.
