YWCA Sexual & Domestic Violence Program
Through YWCA, victims of sexual and domestic violence have access to FREE services to support them in their time of need. Their Sexual Assault Program offers highly trained, specialized, and consistent service delivery to rape victims/survivors ages 13 and older through a medical forensic examination done in a non-hospital environment, on-site at the YWCA Kalamazoo. The Domestic Violence Program offers any survivors of domestic violence who identify as women to stay on-site at the YWCA Emergency Shelter. Food, personal needs items, clothing, and emergency transportation are provided to Emergency Shelter residents.
