Registration Required

Are you ready to level up your skills and be the manager you aspire to be? Managing to Change the World is here for you. This fast-paced, interactive course covers the basics of effective management for leaders in social justice and educational equity organizations. Effective management can help you deliver results that promote justice and empower your team. Through presentation, discussion, and practice, you will learn how to:
• Check your own biases and lead with equitable approaches
• Delegate projects and responsibilities effectively
• Stay engaged without micromanaging
• Nurture relationships and belonging on your team
• Give actionable feedback and develop your staff
• Address performance problems equitably and manage people out
• Work more effectively with your own manager
• Use clear roles to hand off big responsibilities
• Direct work with SMARTIE goals
The online workshop will be conducted entirely over Zoom. To ensure a classroom-like experience, we ask participants to be present on video and in a quiet setting, and to attend the entire course.
This workshop is ONLY for nonprofit managers who manage other people. Registrations are limited to 6 people per organization.
Facilitated by The Management Center
Please register below to attend both sessions (9/17 and 9/19). We will be meeting from 10am – 4pm both days. ONEplace will email you the zoom link before the training.
Because this workshop is an interactive experience, we must limit the number of participants. Once the workshop reaches capacity, we will contact you to confirm that you can still attend. Respectfully, we ask you to let us know if your plans change so we can offer your spot to another person on the waitlist.
Registration for this event is closed.
