Tue, February 17 @ 10:00 am–12:30 pm
Registration Required

Transform your grant writing process with the power of AI in this dynamic, hands-on virtual workshop centered around the Council of Michigan Foundations (CMF) Common Grant Application. Through real-time examples and guided activities, you’ll learn how to use AI writing assistants to enhance proposal narratives, align with funder priorities, and streamline your workflow without losing your strategic edge or authentic voice.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Improve grant writing efficiency and strengthen overall proposal impact.
- Streamline the grant development workflow using AI tools.
- Enhance narratives quickly to align with funder goals and language.
- Leverage AI for background research and funder alignment analysis.
- Recognize the risks, limitations, and ethical considerations of AI in grant writing.
Note: This workshop enhances existing grant writing skills through AI integration. Foundational grant writing knowledge recommended.
Please note that ONEplace@kpl is focused on supporting the nonprofit sector so this workshop will focus on grants for nonprofits and fiscally sponsored projects. We will not be covering small business grants or grants for individuals.
This event will be held on Zoom, and ONEplace will send you the link one day before the event. While we will send a reminder, please add this workshop to your calendar. We expect this event to reach capacity, so please let us know if your plans change and you can no longer attend.
