Grant Research and Writing
Wed, June 5, 2024 @ 10:00 am–12:30 pm
Registration Required

Join us for this combined session on Grant Research & Writing that will begin by dissecting the process of successful grant proposals and result in consideration of an ideal project for funding. You will gain access to what foundations want and how to best work with them; explore step-by-step procedures for writing powerful proposals that meet the requirements of potential funders; and review what you can do now to prepare yourself & your organization. We will share information that will connect you to these funders and walk you step-by-step through figuring out what to write.
We’ve learned that knowing the right tools and how to use them makes this critical element efficient. This session will provide access to find funders interested in your mission by introducing you to directories and other tools available to you. We will explore the Foundation Center’s Foundation Directory Online with over 100,000 foundation and corporate funders.
This workshop will take place on Zoom. ONEplace will email you the link the day before the training.
Please note that ONEplace@kpl is focused on supporting the nonprofit sector so this workshop will focus on grants for nonprofits and fiscally sponsored projects. We will not be covering small business grants or grants for individuals.
Contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
