Cause–Driven Organizations
Wed, May 8, 2024 @ 10:00 am–12:00 pm
Registration Required

What is the big-picture work we’re doing with others in the community? What’s the thing we want to change? Cause–driven organizations don’t have to run counter to mission-focused, which is the traditional call of nonprofits to consider their mission first and foremost. An organization’s mission can remain its focus, the goal of cause–driven is to be centered in the community. Centered in community *and* mission-focused is possible. Cause-driven connects the dots between on-the-ground programs and the big-picture work you’re trying to accomplish with others.
While everyone is welcome, this experience is geared towards nonprofit boards and executive directors. Past participants have shared that this training helps them focus on the big picture, helps gain clarity and shared analysis, and much more.
We will cover:
- Setting a focused direction
- Managing relationships and
- Ensuring long-term capacity. This training also includes several exercises for the board to consider their purpose and also supports building relationships.
Facilitated by Stacy Jackson, Programming Manager, and Ragan Savara, Operations Manager
