Morning Buzz: Managing Up and Across
Fri, September 25 @ 10:00 am–11:30 am
Registration Required

Fundraising is rarely a solo act, and success often depends on how well we collaborate with executive leaders, boards, program staff, finance teams, and volunteers. This session will focus on communication strategies, expectation-setting, and influence without authority, particularly when you are responsible for revenue goals but do not supervise everyone involved. Through guided discussion and shared examples, we will identify practical approaches that strengthen alignment and reduce friction.
Join us for this conversation alongside fellow fundraisers from the Development Professionals Network, AFP West Michigan, and ONEPlace. No presentations, no formal agenda, only a relaxed, facilitated discussion.
This event will be held in person and ONEplace will send the location in a calendar invite one day before the event. We will send a reminder and please add this to your calendar. We also expect this event to reach capacity, so please let us know if your plans change and you can no longer attend.
