From Cemetery to Public Common: A History of South Westnedge Park

Western Michigan University historian Dr. Evan Kutzler will discuss the history of Kalamazoo’s first cemetery, detailing its evolution from burial ground to public park. Kutzler’s recent research reveals new insights about those who call this shady city plot a final resting place.
