Come celebrate Family Literacy Month with author Maya Payne Smart! Attendees will learn practical ways to create a literate home environment as family engagement ideas are shared to promote a love for learning and literacy. Families will also learn how important it is to be role models and advocates for their child’s literacy development. Copies of Reading for Our Lives will be available for attendees!

All Kalamazoo Public Library events are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated in the event description. A library card is not required to attend.
