coming home to history: jacob pinney-johnson
February is Black History Month! Join us at Central Library to learn more about Kalamazoo’s Black history with Jacob Pinney-Johnson, an activist, local historian, and fourth-generation resident. His historical knowledge and strong ties to the community have made him a keeper of Kalamazoo’s Black history.
Along with guest panelists, Jacob will share what he has learned about the lives and legacies of Kalamazoo’s Black residents throughout the years.
