Breakfast and Bonding: National Day of Racial Healing
Tue, January 20 @ 7:30 am–9:30 am
Registration Required

Some of your favorite nonprofit organizations invite you to join us for a special collaborative Breakfast & Bonding Event in celebration of the National Day of Racial Healing 2026! Come share a meal (catered by Davis Delectables), connect with neighbors, and be part of meaningful conversations about #TheHeartofRacialEquity.
Our gathering will be hosted at the historic Douglass Community Association, located at 1000 W. Paterson, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
Through shared food and facilitated dialogue using the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation method, we will:
• Connect across our community and embrace our common humanity
• Share stories and build stronger relationships
• Explore practical steps toward collective healing
• Celebrate the power of coming together
This is a welcoming space for genuine conversation and connection as we work toward a more unified and equitable community.
Please add this event to your calendar when you register. We expect this event to reach capacity, so please let us know if your plans change and you can no longer attend.
