SLAM! Poetry Workshops with Fire Arts Collaborative

These workshops instruct teens on poetry composition, how to read aloud to a group, and confident expression through verse. Designed for grades 9-12, but grades 6-8 also welcome!
Show off your new poetry skills at our Youth Poetry Celebration at Central Library on April 29, from 6 to 7:30 pm. Bring family and friends!

All Kalamazoo Public Library events are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated in the event description. A library card is not required to attend. Events where space is limited may require prior registration or a free ticket to attend. Registration and ticket requirements are indicated in the event description.
