SLAM! Poetry with Fire

These workshops will instruct teens on poetry composition, as well as how to read aloud to a group, and feel confident in expressing oneself through verse. Designed for highschoolers, grades 9-12, but middle-schoolers also welcome! Ages 11-18.

All Kalamazoo Public Library events are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated in the event description. A library card is not required to attend. Events where space is limited may require prior registration or a free ticket to attend. Registration and ticket requirements are indicated in the event description.
