Saturday Eve's Book Club: Reading Together 2026. health equity for Black women

Saturday Eve’s Book Club was founded in 1968 by a group of 12 friends passionate about exploring books centered on the Black experience. Over the years, the group has donated books to local youth, contributed to scholarship funds, and supported local authors at their community events.

Topic: Health Equity for Black Women

Health equity for Black women is about making sure Black women have a fair and just opportunity to be as healthy as possible—and that means confronting the systems and conditions that have consistently put them at risk. Featuring: Henrietta Lacks Traveling Museum with curator Jermaine Jackson
