Literacy in Your Community

This spring, Kalamazoo was introduced to literacy advocate Oliver James. KPL is continuing its partnership with the Kalamazoo Literacy Council to champion generational literacy. In this introductory lecture, learn about the state of adult literacy in Kalamazoo and what you can do to make positive changes in our community.

All Kalamazoo Public Library events are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated in the event description. A library card is not required to attend. Events where space is limited may require prior registration or a free ticket to attend. Registration and ticket requirements are indicated in the event description.
