Empowering Fatherhood with Black Arts & Cultural Center and Fatherhood Network

Celebrate Black culture and fatherhood with this unique event series. Featuring the Black Arts & Cultural Center and the Fatherhood Network of Kalamazoo, KPL will host three events: a cookout with youth-focused activities at Alma Powell, a guided arts-and-crafts activity at the Black Arts & Cultural Center Gallery, and a community town hall about resources for fathers at the Eastwood Branch Library. Refreshments provided.
June 17 | 4–7 pm | POW/Pavilion: Cookout with youth-focused activities
June 21 | 12–2 pm | BACC Gallery: arts-and-crafts activity. Registration required.
June 23 | 6–7:30 pm | EAS/Community Room: community town hall about resources for fathers

All Kalamazoo Public Library events are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated in the event description. A library card is not required to attend. Events where space is limited may require prior registration or a free ticket to attend. Registration and ticket requirements are indicated in the event description.
