Book Discussion with Author Reginald Dwayne Betts

In partnership with Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, join us for a discussion of the book Doggerel: Poems, led by the author Reginald Dwayne Betts. Copies of the book are available in Kalamazoo Public Library’s Book Club Picks collection.

Reginald Dwayne Betts is a poet and lawyer. A 2021 MacArthur Fellow, he is the Executive Director of Freedom Reads, a not-for-profit organization, providing access to literature in prisons through the installation of Freedom Libraries in prisons across the US.

This event will take place in Western Michigan University’s Multicultural Center (Room 1012 of the Trimpe Building).
