Becoming the “Fourth Sister:” A Conversation with the Kalamazoo Seed Collaborative

In Braiding Sweetgrass, Robin Wall Kimmerer describes the Three Sisters, an Indigenous garden design in which corn, beans, and squash support each other’s growth, and proposes that we are “fourth sisters” in our relationships with food plants. Kalamazoo Seed Collaborative will discuss how seed stewardship deepens our kinship with plants and people. This event is part of the Honorable Harvest Lecture Series at Taps on Tuesday.
