CANCELED DUE to WEATHER: A Glimpse into Deep Space: Discovering Black Holes, Exoplanets, and a New Frontier
Tue, January 21, 2025 @ 6:00 pm–7:00 pm

We apologize, this event has been closed due to the inclement weather.
More than 30 years have passed since the launch of the Hubble Space Telescope, which revealed the first secrets of our universe. The discovery of the first exoplanets in the early ’90s invited further speculation about what we might find in other solar systems. Today, we have tools that allow us to look beyond that initial glimpse and truly explore the atmospheres of exoplanets, examine the details of ancient galaxies, and even capture images of black holes. Discover the latest equipment astronomers are using, including near-infrared imaging and spectroscopy, to see deeper into space than ever before! Presented by the Air Zoo.
