Kalamazoo Public Library is excited to hear award-winning authors and illustrators: Loren Long, G. (Greg) Neri, Lisa Wheeler, and Emmy Kastner!
This event includes special keynotes and multiple breakout sessions. Everywhere you look, someone is working to build a strong community. Learn about building readers in your community in this day-long seminar geared towards educators, students, and anyone with an interest in youth literature.
The Youth Literature Seminar is a long-standing tradition at Kalamazoo Public Library, started by Children’s librarian Mary Calletto Rife. Mary created a legacy of sharing books with children, and we are honored to celebrate her work every November by bringing award-winning authors to Kalamazoo. Registration required.
