How KPL's Quarantine Process May Affect Returns Being Reflected on Your Account
Have you recently received an overdue notification from KPL about a book or a movie you know you returned? Not to worry, our quarantine process is likely the reason. As part of KPL’s efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, all materials returned to any KPL location are held in quarantine for a minimum of four days before being processed. This may result in a delay in the return being reflected on your account. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The good news is that Kalamazoo Public Library is a fine-free library so we do not charge late fees. If you do miss a due date, please return items within 30 days of the due date to avoid a replacement fee.
