KPL is excited to announce two new services!
September is Library Card Sign-up Month. If you don’t have a KPL Card, sign up online today so you can access one of KPL’s newest services, Mango Languages!
Mango adapts to your unique learning style, so you pick up on new vocabulary, intuit unfamiliar grammatical structure, and train your pronunciation, all while boosting your cultural IQ. Lessons involve a rich mix of listening and reading activities, so you can make sense of written and spoken contexts.
KPL patrons can start learning a new language with Mango today!
September is also Passport Awareness Month. What a coincidence because KPL is pleased to announce we now accept passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State! KPL’s Passport Service is located on the second floor of the Central Library and is open during Central’s regular operating hours.
You do not need to be a KPL Card holder to utilize our facility. In addition to processing passport applications, we also offer on-site passport photos. To make an appointment, please call (269) 553-7908. Walk-in service is not available at this time.
