Online registration is now available!

KPL wants to ensure that everyone in our community has something to read, listen to, or watch during this time of shelter in place and social distancing. That is why we are offering online sign-up for a KPL Card, good for 90 days. Once the library reopens, simply stop by your local branch to verify your residency and your account will be extended for 3 years with continued full access to all print and digital materials and databases.

The KPL Card provides immediate access to our digital collection which includes eBooks and eAudiobooks via Hoopla, cloudLibrary, and OverDrive (Libby app); eVideos via Hoopla; eMagazines via RBdigital; and eMusic via Hoopla and Freegal. You will also have access to our online services including our databases.

Once your online registration is processed, you will be emailed a temporary library card and pin number which you may use to immediately access our digital collection and online services. Please note it may take up to 24 hours to process your request as responding KPL staff are working remotely to serve the community.
