Construction updates for Kalamazoo Public Library
Construction projects are underway at various Kalamazoo Public Library locations. Closures and delays may happen on short notice to clean, repair and/or replace vital building components. For our patrons and staff, Kalamazoo Public Library will keep weekly updates to ensure your experience is the most enjoyable as possible. Thank you, Kalamazoo!
Current Construction Projects
Central Library | 315 S. Rose Street
Status: Construction is underway to replace the hydronic heating system, replace the boiler and update pipes throughout the building.
Current impact: New! Central Library will be closed Friday, November 7, and Friday, November 21, and open for normal operating hours on Saturday, November 8, and Saturday, November 22.
- The W. Lovell and S. Rose Street parking lot has reduced parking.
- The rear drop boxes are unavailable. Please use the drop boxes located on the exterior of Central Library, facing S. Rose Street after open hours or drop off returns at other KPL locations.
