This fall, many students will be attending virtual classes instead of in-person classes. KPL offers many educational resources that can be accessed from home by teachers, students of all ages, and their parents/caregivers. Below are a few examples. Visit kpl.gov/homeworkhelp for a complete list of available databases.

  • PebbleGo: a curricular content hub specifically designed for K–3. Includes informational articles, ready-made activities, and literacy support for students of all abilities.
  • Britannica School: resources at four levels–Learning Zone, Elementary, Middle, and High School. Contains resources for subjects such as people, countries, science, animals, current events, and biographies.
  • LearningExpress Library: support for students and professionals in skill-building, test prep and career certification. Includes GED prep.
  • Explora for Elementary, Middle School & High School: features relevant and reliable content and easy-to-use functionality to help students of all ages successfully complete their research.
  • Opposing Viewpoints in Context: Contextual information and opinions on today’s hottest social issues.

Teachers, students, and caregivers can also find instructional videos on LinkedIn Learning and Hoopla. Just search the kpl.gov/elearn for the topics you are interested in to see what we have to offer!
