Free Printing at Kalamazoo Public Library

Kalamazoo Public Library offers free daily printing as part of the benefits of having a library card.

Patrons with full-access library cards automatically receive 5 free black-and-white prints each day that can be used at KPL locations.

This service is designed to help community members access important documents and everyday printing needs without additional cost.

How It Works

  • Patrons receive 5 black-and-white print credits each day
  • Credits are automatically added to your account daily
  • Credits do not accumulate from day to day
  • Free prints can be used for printing or copying
  • Any pages beyond the daily 5 prints are charged at the regular printing rate

Important Details

  • Print credits are non-transferable
  • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or used to pay fees
  • New library cards begin receiving free prints starting the day after the card is created

Why We Offer Free Printing

Access to printers is essential for many everyday needs. Free daily prints help community members complete tasks such as:

  • Printing homework or school assignments
  • Preparing resumes and job applications
  • Printing forms and documents
  • Accessing important information when you need it

This is one more way Kalamazoo Public Library supports learning, work, and daily life in our community.
