Sources of Information Outside the Kalamazoo Public Library

There are many excellent resources outside KPL’s collection. Those in the immediate area include:

There are several excellent genealogical research collections within three hours drive of Kalamazoo, including:

• Bentley Historical Library at University of Michigan
• Burton Collection at the Detroit Public Library
• Webster Memorial Library (Van Buren District Library) in Decatur
• Reynolds Collection at the Allen County Public Library
     in Fort Wayne, Indiana
• Newberry Library in Chicago
• Great Lakes Regional Branch of the National Archives in Chicago
