Summary
Detective William Murdoch has more mysteries to solve in turn-of-the-century Toronto, with unflinching support from his wife, Dr. Julia Ogden, even after an investigation leads him to a family member that he never knew about. Inspector Brackenreid's marriage, now on the mend, is tested once more, and Constable Crabtree's relationship is threatened by a potentially volatile interloper. Coroner Violet Hart begins a romance that challenges society's expectations, and Detective Watts grapples with problems in his own love affair. In Season 14, Murdoch and his team contend with the murder of an entertainer at the vaudeville carnival where Charlie Chaplin is performing, a controversial science experiment gone wrong, a killing in a so-called sovereign nation, and a deadly escape room.
