Summary
Cricket on the hearth: Caleb, a poor toymaker, discovers a cricket on his fireplace which he hopes will bring good luck to him and his daughter, Bertha. A series of unfortunate events proves trying for everyone, with the only hope being a Christmas miracle.
Little drummer boy: The story of Aaron, the Little Drummer Boy, who comes upon the birth of baby Jesus and learns that the best gift is one given from the heart.
