Summary

Based on Philip Pullman's epic fantasy trilogy, this HBO series reveals a young orphan's incredible journey into a parallel world where a human soul exists outside of the body--in the form of a talking animal. The series follows Lyra, who was left as a baby at Oxford's Jordan College but now desires a life of adventure beyond the confines of her bookish surroundings. While searching for a missing friend, she uncovers a plot involving stolen children and embarks upon a dangerous quest that will change her life forever.
