Summary
Laurel & Hardy, one of the world's greatest comedy teams, set out on a variety hall tour of Britain in 1953. With their golden era as the kings of Hollywood comedy now behind them, they face an uncertain future as they try to reconnect with their fans. Even as the charm and beauty of their performances shine through and the tour becomes a hit, the specter of their past, coupled with Oliver's failing health, threaten their precious partnership. As they rediscover their friendship, they become aware that they may be approaching their swan song.
