Summary
The story of the volatile love affair between Colombia's most famous journalist, Virginia Vallejo and the world's most feared drug lord, Pablo Escobar. When Virginia first met Pablo, she was drawn to him by his charisma and contagious passion for his country and the people he loves. As their passionate affair intensified, so did the brutal violence and tyranny that surrounded Escobar's empire. As her world comes crashing down around her, Virginia must decide if she will support the man she loves or help bring down one of the most vicious criminals the world has ever known.
