Summary

In 1953, young Larry Lapinsky, an aspiring actor, removes himself from his clingly Brooklyn mother and escapes to bohemian, sexually liberated Greenwich Village. There he meets a new cast of characters, including a wildly pretentious actor, an oversexed poet, and a troubled girl. Through it all, Larry may just make peace with his past and find a promising new future--in Calfornia!
