Summary

Regarded as one of the finest films ever made, Citizen Kane tells the story of idealism corrupted by wealth. Prominant publisher, William Randolph Hearst, saw the film as a thinly disguised version of his career and attempted to suppress it. The controversy has faded, but not the film's power and brilliance.
