Summary
Stanley Milgram (Peter Sarsgaard) designs a psychology experiment in which people think they're delivering painful electric shocks to strangers in another room. Ignoring pleas for mercy, most subjects don't stop with the experiment because they've been told to continue. Milgram's exploration of authority and conformity remains relevant to this day.
