Lord Milan L'Oiseau:Thoughts & Actions
Kalamazoo Public Library presents Writers’ Block, a forum where independently published local writers can tell the world about their work. This episode features author Lord Milan L’Oiseau who discusses his book Thoughts & Actions.
Thoughts & Actions delves into reality with divine intent while drawing in the most novice reader. With usable quotes and thought-provoking prose, Milan Willis has made an indelible mark on American poetry for the 21st century.
A direct descendant of the Greenhaugh nobles of England, Lord Milan was born in Indiana and raised in the Commonwealth of Virginia, until moving to Michigan in the summer of 1996. The Author grew up heavily influenced by the vast cross-culturalism that surrounded him. An artist from the age of three, he experienced free creativity in many different mediums, from Crayola crayons to the most coveted acrylics and India Ink. His writing career began in 2010 with the publication of his bilingual book of poetry. Not one to be deterred, as the author states, “I will not compromise my vision”, the accident that rendered him a quadriplegic merely empowered him to do greater pieces. Now, at the age of 34, his style remains all his own no matter how simple, detailed, human, or divine.
