Kalamazoo’s own spoken word duo, Kinetic Affect (Gabriel Giron and Kirk Latimer), returned to Kalamazoo Public Library on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, for a performance in the Van Deusen Room. The guys shared stories about their past, some powerful words about Michigan, and some great new material, too – still challenging beliefs, pushing boundaries, and embracing differences.
