How to Write Your Own Obituary (or anyone else's)

Obituaries should honor the past, preserve it for the future, and give comfort in the present – but they’re tough to write at the last minute. Kalamazoo Public Library Information and Reader Services lead library assistant Ruth Wilson talks with KPL patron Carol Cloyd about the ingredients that go into a good obituary. She discusses some do’s and don’ts, and how to get a start on one for yourself that says what you would like to say.

Recorded 10/15/2015

This program was originally presented at Central Library on Thursday, October 15, 2015, in partnership with the Oshtemo Historical Society.
