This illustrated presentation by Peter Copeland covers the origins and development of Parkwyn Village from 1947 to the present with particular emphasis on Parkwyn Village’s early challenges and the contributions of three prominent architects working in the mid-20th century “modern” style: Frank Lloyd Wright and Kalamazoo’s own Norman F. Carver, Jr., and George W. Sprau.
