The Oshtemo Branch is located at 7265 W. Main St. in Oshtemo Township, next to Oshtemo Township Hall and the Oshtemo Township Park. Oshtemo is a rapidly growing area on the western edge of Kalamazoo County located between Drake Rd. and 22nd St. and between G and N Avenues. The Oshtemo area features a mix of residential and commercial properties, city and rural settings, and beautiful parks. Most residents are part of the Kalamazoo Public Schools or Mattawan Consolidated School districts. Library patrons who call the Oshtemo Branch their neighborhood library, come from Oshtemo and Kalamazoo Townships, from the city of Kalamazoo, and all of the surrounding areas. The Oshtemo Branch Library, partners with the Friends of the Oshtemo Township Parks to present programming and invite the community to take advantage of the beautiful, natural resources in this area.
