Bring Old Media into the 21st Century

Idea Lab equipment can digitize photo slides, photo negatives, VHS tapes, VHS-C tapes, mini-DV tapes, cassette tapes, and 8mm film. Media that is digitized can be saved onto a flash drive or put on a CD/DVD.

Oshtemo has a digitization station that can digitize VHS, VHS-C, cassette tapes, photo slides, and photo negatives.

Note: Digitizing VHS tapes, cassettes, and mini-DV tapes will take as long as the respective media is. 8mm film will take approximately 30 minutes for every three minutes of film. Be sure to budget enough time for a lengthy process! We are also able to convert digital 8 and hi-8 tapes if a camcorder that can play them is provided.
