Children and Teen Areas

The Eastwood Branch is a great place for little ones to spend time exploring and discovering! We have a current collection of books, movies, and audiobooks, as well as computer learning stations, a puppet stage, and a craft cart for creative hands. Our Play to Learn room promotes playing, talking, reading, writing, and singing through interactive play stations and scheduled storytimes and children’s programs. Be sure to check out the events calendar for a listing of children’s programs.

The Teen Space at the Eastwood Branch provides a cozy and comfortable area for teens to read and study, engage in STEM kit activities, relax with Zentangle, and spend time with friends. The latest teen series, graphic novels, and informational books are located in the teen space. Check out the events calendar for exciting Eastwood Branch teen activities like the Breakfast Club, open gaming, crafts, cooking, and more.

Computer and Wi-Fi

The Eastwood Branch Library is the place to go if you need access to the Internet. Not only will you find multiple computers with Internet access, but also high-speed Wi-Fi! More information: Public Computers.

Meeting Room — EAS Community

The Eastwood Branch Community Room can be reserved for both Nonprofit Organization and Business use.
A library district resident or property owner must make the room reservation.

  • Fee: Nonprofit Organization Use—$25 per two-hour block of time; Business Use—$150 for one to four hours; $250 for four to eight hours
  • Maximum Seating: 130 persons theater style

Study Room

The Eastwood Study Room is perfect for a small meeting, place to study, or host a tutoring session. The space fits 8–10 comfortably and is equipped with a large screen monitor and gaming system. Please contact staff to reserve.

Need to send a fax? Copy that important document? Scan receipts for your taxes? The Eastwood Branch Library can help! Faxing and scanning are totally FREE of charge. Copying costs depend on black & white or color print. Staff is happy to help. For more information, click here.
