Central Library Closed July 21–25
Kalamazoo Public Library’s Central Library will be closed Tuesday, July 21, through Saturday, July 25, while emergency repairs are made to the building’s cooling system. We expect Central Library to reopen Monday, July 27.
All other KPL locations will remain open during their regular hours, and patrons are welcome to visit any other branch during the Central closure. KPL’s online resources and digital services will also remain available at kpl.gov.
Other Information:
- Holds currently available at Central Library should be picked up by the end of the day Monday, July 20.
- Holds that are not picked up before the closure will remain available through Monday, July 27.
- To change the pickup location for an active hold, please call the Circulation Department at 269-553-7849.
- Please return materials at another KPL location while Central Library is closed.
- Book donations to Friends of Kalamazoo Public Library will be paused while Central is closed.
- Visit our event calendar for event schedule and location updates.
