Summary
Brady Mason prefers a practical lifestyle centered on sports, familiar routines, and casual clothing. When her friends notice her resemblance to a well-known fashion editor, they begin an online rumor suggesting a family connection. What begins as a joke becomes reality when a DNA test confirms that Brady is the editor's biological daughter. Brady is asked to move to Manhattan to live with her mother, Elena Lavigne. The transition brings challenges as Brady adjusts to a new environment and navigates a relationship with a parent she has never known. As both work through differences in personality and expectations, they begin to recognize shared experiences and values. The story explores identity, family relationships, and personal growth.
