Summary

Patrick Dykstra is a man who has dedicated his life to his great passion--diving with and filming whales. Over the years, Patrick has learned how whales communicate, how they perceive other creatures in the water, and how they behave in his immediate presence. With sensitivity and experience, he gets closer to whales than nearly anyone else. During a dive, Patrick encounters the curious female sperm whale he names "Dolores," and an extraordinary story begins.
