Summary

The biography follows Joseph Ward Bearss' life beginning in 1939 when he was 19 years old and follows his military service during World War two. The story also encompasses the time when Joseph Bearss and his wife were married and traveled the United States during the war. Many of the ancedotes in this book are from the author's mother's personal retelling.
