Summary

Jane Alexander lives an enviable life in San Francisco with handsome Tom O'Donnell. But her idyllic life is shattered when her beloved, elderly aunt is brutally murdered, and police detective Jack Morris convinces Jane that Tom is the killer. Heartbreak turns to horror when Jane discovers Tom has disappeared with her money, leaving her near bankrupt. This betrayal will prompt Jane to go on a thirteen-year journey to track down her ex and ultimately bring her aunt's killer to justice.
